While I'm on the the subject of apples, I can't resist posting these pictures of this roadside shop in Putney, Vermont.Delicious local apples, pumpkins and inside was a huge range of maple syrups ['fine' being the lightest in colour and flavour] as well as other maple products.
Dr H and I stocked up. To help the decision making process, all were available for tasting. Mmmm, delectable.
